FAQs

You got questions, we got answers!
Question

What are you doing in response to COVID-19?

Answer

Masks will be recommended, but not required for our event. We will have someone at the door to check vaccination cards prior to entry. COVID Vaccines will be required to attend our event. Your health and safety are our top priorities.

Question

Is this a wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, we decided to get married privately in April 2020. The shindig to which you have been invited is a both an anniversary party, celebrating our decade long relationship and a belated wedding reception. We hope that you attend our unconventional event and have all of the fun!

Question

The invitation says there will be games and candy, but also no children?

Answer

That is correct! We are adults that like games and candy. We are also adults that like alcohol and bad words. We are not creating a child friendly event. We will not censor ourselves or our guests for the comfort of your child. Please help us make this a child-free event.

Question

But my child is...

Answer

I am sure your child is well behaved, lovely, and means a lot to you as well as us. You do not have to prove this at our adult event.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting that everyone dress formally. Sunday best, suit and tie, dresses, and any other fashionable dress that fits your style and identity. When was the last time you got to drink hot chocolate and eat skittles in your fanciest attire?

Question

Will there be a meal, or should I eat beforehand?

Answer

We will have light snacks, munchies, and junk food. We recommend eating a well-balanced meal beforehand so that we can all enjoy a good drink, games, and dancing without worrying about breaking to eat.
