A beautiful friendship ended up leading to a relationship neither of us saw coming. Our first official date was on NYE and an evening turned into 3 days together. Fast forward to December 2014 and Kevin and Emily asked me to move in with them. Not to spoil anything but in 2020 he proposed, he actually almost proposed to me at Superbowl that year, but ended up waiting just a little bit longer.

We have this tradition where we go to Lake Pillsbury to celebrate Valentines day every year. Each year we go up we go to this beautiful rock, that has a beautiful view. While carving the year into the rock Kevin asked me to come over to him to look at something. I did not even realize he was on his knee until he pulled the ring out. At this point I may have blacked out, we were both crying and I remember saying you have to ask me through the tears "Will you marry me?" "Yes!!!". It was a beautiful moment for just us that I know we will always cherish.

Now here we are! Almost 13 years later planning our wedding, which we didn't know if we were going to have. We have talked about eloping since the beginning. Wild Oak has been in the family almost a year at this point and already holds such a special place in our hearts that we cannot wait to have the memories of planning our wedding and getting married there! We are so happy and excited that we are finally getting married, and cannot wait to be Mr. and Mrs Schach
