We met on Lake Austin in 2015 and felt an undeniable magnetic attraction; fueled 90% by fate and 10% by Tito's. Jordan saw Mike across the boat and felt compelled to introduce herself to this intimidating hulk of a man. He immediately softened and we talked and laughed all day, though it wasn't yet our time. We stayed in touch over the next two years, sharing knowing smiles when ‘randomly’ running into each other, until the fateful evening Mike crashed a girls' night with two dozen roses in hand to ask Jordan if he could take her out on a proper date. It was s’cute. She was captivated, but had no idea the treasure she discovered and all that he had in store for her. After a carefully planned and perfectly executed Austin date of Sunday brunch at Perla's and paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake, we spent a whirlwind six weekends traveling, learning, laughing, and quickly becoming inseparable. The chemistry was off the charts - our intertwined destiny was undeniable and we knew long before it was official. Six months later, Mike proposed on an epic hike through the Icelandic countryside at the cliffs of Skógafoss. That was where we really fell in love with the immersive consuming beauty of nature, and we knew we had to be married somewhere lush and outdoorsy to recapture some of the visual beauty of that moment. We could not be more thrilled to celebrate the next step in our journey with each of you who have played such an important part in our story!
