Good question. We got excited to share this moment privately with our nearest and dearest (you!), and we didn't want to waste months of our lives poring over every. last. wedding. detail. We found a weekend that seemed to work for most hard workers, big travelers, and mamas-to-be and went for it. THANK YOU for indulging our spontaneity--we love you for loving us in spite of it.
Probably not. He'd look great in pictures, but then told us he intended to chew up everything in the hotel room and vomit it up in a secret spot that wouldn't be discovered until later.
Yes! Get ready to dance your butt off!
Please no gifts! Your presence is the only present we need. Truly ❤️
Don’t worry. We’re having a big a** Indian-ish party on Friday November 1st to celebrate our marriage (mark your calendar!). You’ll be there, in a sari/kurta pajama. Your dreams of attending an Indian wedding are not yet squashed.
Late June on the PNW coast is delightfully uncertain. It could be cold, rainy, cloudy, windy, or any combination of those things. It could also be warm(ish) and sunny. If you're from out here, you know the drill. If not, wear what you'd like to wear to a beach weekend getaway and then bring several more layers to throw on and shed off multiple times during the day.
It's not the sunbathing and swimming kind of beach, but bring outdoor clothes and some good shoes, as there are a lot of great beach walks and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. If you're driving and inclined to bring blankets, games, speakers, or other things that would facilitate an evening beach bonfire hangout, go for it. Bonfires, cars, dogs are all permitted on Long Beach.
