Maid of Honor
Anna and I met in college. That poor girl had no idea what was in store for her having me as her best friend!! We got so close that we even had our tonsils removed the same summer. I am so happy she put up with all my anti-studying games, making random bets, dragging her to the cafeteria just to not eat, random rapid fire texts and making her take a very boring class. She really helped me get out of my little shell. She was and is always there for me. However, I bet if I tie one more exploding confetti popper to her bathroom door she will kill me.
Bridesmaid
Laura was my roommate at Campus Quarters. I think we got along so well at first because she was quiet and I wouldn't stop talking. Unless it was the morning and then it was an unspoken rule that while we were in the kitchen getting ready we didn't speak. I loved her as a roommate because who else would have helped me rescue a cat, climb in bushes to get closer to a guy being towed or make a jello mess in the kitchen. Although she refuses to be a loofa for Halloween I will get her to do a huge slip-n-slide one day!! We are both getting married in 2019 and she is moving just 8 minutes from us and I can't wait!! Now I can easily tape things to her front door on her birthdays!!
Matron of Honor
Sammy has been my sister, for well, as long as I can remember. She is a lot of things and quiet is not one of them and that has to be the best thing about her. Sammy's favorite quote is Live, Laugh, Love and she is all about that! She is someone you meet and just want to be apart of her family because she welcomes in everyone and makes you feel so bubbly and happy yourself. We are 4 years apart and as kids we were in very different places but we could always get together to play an intense of Scene-it. But I am so honored to be able to grow very close to her as we grew older. Not sure what I would do without her random calls during the day with her kids in the background or late night calls on her way home from work.
Bridesmaid
Britney and I met at work. I'm pretty sure we became friends because I always had food or candy she wanted at my desk. She was an amazing boss to a, lets just say loud, group of students. Half the time her office felt like a councilor's office always giving us children advise. Despite our prank wars, Lil Wayne game, Carl catastrophe, and multiple "Come to Jesus" meeting we still had jobs and I'm so thankful for that because I was able to grow closer to Brittney. I hate that she moved all the way to Nashville because now all we do is text and she can limit my questions more through texts than she could in person.
Groom
Tony Miller. This thing wants me to describe Tony in 800 characters or less. How do you describe the love of your life in that amount of space?!?! I'll keep it short and to the point. Despite my random loudness, dance parties, tackling him and tricking him into getting a devil cat he still loves me! I could not have asked for a better fit for me than Tony.
Mother of the Bride
My mom, or as I call her Wonder Woman, is the best I could have ever asked for. I'm not going to lie and say I was an angel growing up so it shows how strong my mom is for not killing me. All jokes aside my mother taught me so much like: always wear a belt, always be alert and lock the bathroom door when showering. I owe all my mischievous behavior and creativity to her. She made every birthday, every Halloween and everyday in between special and a mystery. I love my mom more than I can explain and would not be where I am without her. To this day if my mom were to ask who wants to run to the store with her I'd be in the front seat without hesitation.
Father of the Bride
Doctor G is my father and I am extremely proud of that. There are many things I could say about him but the most important is our connection. There is no doubt my dad and I think the same way. He taught me to ask questions till I was satisfied with the answer, to think of all possible outcomes before making a decision and how to properly yell at a tv during a sports game! I'll never forget playing Queen on the way to my soccer games, being read Lord of the Rings and being woken up to go outside to see spectacular meteor showers. Dad is a hard man but having a thick skulled daughter like me he had to be and I am thankful every day for how hard he pushed me.
Flower Girl
Kinsleigh Victoria Hartman. She is a little nugget ray of sunshine. We share the same middle name and it has to be the biggest honor of my left. I love this little girl more than I thought possible and every chance I get I facetime with her, beg Samantha for pictures and videos and it kills me being so far away.
Ring Bearer
Garrett is one wacko for sure!! It melts my heart every time I get a hug from him that is so tight I think he's going to break something. He is so cuddly and loving. I got the pleasure of putting him down for a nap and it took every ounce of strength I had to leave him. Although he did go to the bathroom on me when I first met him I still love him with everything I have and just wish he was closer.
