Things To Do

Whether you're in town for a short visit or an extended vacation, there's loads to do in the beautiful Kitsap County. These are a few of our favorite things!

Green Mountain Wildcat Trailhead

10810 Northwest Holly Road, Bremerton, WA 98312

A nice local hike up a moderate mountain with view of Seattle and Mount Rainier at the top! Also a wonderful spot for a sunset hike, one of our first dates together!

Quarters Arcade

606 4th Street, Bremerton, WA 98337

This was our second date, followed by ramen right down the street! It's a great option for guests with kids or those looking for an indoor activity.

Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park

Olympic Resources Trails, Kingston, WA 98346

Over 65 miles of trails for hikers, bikers, and horseback riders. It's a wonderful place to get close to nature and with good weather, see views of both the Olympics and the Cascades! This is where Michaela likes to go running and biking during the week after work.

Rainy Daze Brewing

650 Northwest Bovela Lane, Poulsbo, WA 98370

Looking for a good beer and fun atmosphere? Look no further! For those of you who want to explore a cute town, do some shopping, rent kayaks, or try some local tasty treats, the Viking-themed Front Street of Poulsbo is less than a five-minute drive away!

Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse

201 Northwest Beaver Ridge, Poulsbo, WA 98370

One of Kaleb's favorite places for a drink and local culture! With live music and food trucks every Friday night, this family-friendly cider house has a wonderful outdoor venue complete with a collection of barnyard animals and yard games to keep everyone entertained.

Grand Forest West

9752 Miller Road Northeast, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

A great place for those looking to visit an Old Growth Forest on Bainbridge Island, only 30 minutes from the wedding venue! Afterwards, head to downtown Winslow for upscale shopping, cafes, and restaurants.

USS Turner Joy | U.S. Naval Destroyer Museum

300 Washington Beach Avenue, Bremerton, WA 98337

For the history buffs among us, there's an incredible opportunity to explore a Vietnam-Era U.S. Naval Destroyer moored in the heart of Bremerton, WA. Afterwards you can walk the waterfront, explore the shops and unique restaurants in downtown Bremerton.

Olympic National Park Visitor Center

3002 Mount Angeles Road, Port Angeles, WA 98362

For those of you here looking for a bit longer of a trip, take a drive out to the Olympic National Park (about 1.5 hours from the venue). Cross the bridge over the Hood Canal and venture into pristine wilderness, abundant vistas, and towering old-growth trees. There are plenty of hiking trails and driving routes, offering an experience for everyone!

Front Street Northeast

Front Street Northeast, Poulsbo, WA 98370

For those of you who love a good day of shopping, Poulsbo's Front Street offers a plethora of bookstores, coffee shops, wine-tasting, and antiquing. Shop to your heart's content and enjoy a sunset walk at the waterfront park boardwalk!
