We gettin' hitched ya'll

I was working the hot dog eating contest at the decatur celebration, went to go see mt friend Jordan's band play afterward with my friend mark. After a few draft beers & not smoking for 11 days a good lookin' guy walked by not once but twice with a lit cigarette. I asked to bum one. Later a mutal friend (David) told me his friend Jesse thought i was cute.

He came over and we sat on the porch... neither thought the other was interested... who would have thought we were both wrong

We hung out and had a couple drinks, or more that a couple, on his porch and really hit it off. Decided to hang out again to celebrate his birthday on Saturday

We decided to celebrate his birthday the best way we knew how, with alcohol..we both were exhausted and didn't feel like drinking so we ate and talked and sipped and next thing we knew the alcohol was flowing heavily and we were dancing in the rain listening to music at 5 am. We both knew the minute we kissed in the rain what we had was meant to be

We spent the next two weeks seeing each other every day even if it was just for a couple minutes. We were sleep deprived but couldn't seem to stay apart

I moved in. We hadnt spent time apart and we just couldnt imagine doing it for any longer.

I worked on painting the whole house, it looks amazing, we keep everything clean and picked up and its like a new home :) but let me tell you the process of painting, mainly the dining room, was an adventure in itself.

We haven't done things very conventional from the beginning and we do not plan to start! Bree asked Jesse to marry her even though they had been talking about it for almost a month. Its official now! We are getting hitched Yall!

Its fairly simple. I've known since day 1 that this man was the one i wanted to spend the rest of my life with so we were laying on the couches and he had fallen asleep. I texted him trying to wake him up. He didn't wakeup.... eventually the dogs barked and woke him up and he said yes :) Technically he said Absolutely :)

We enjoy watching shows on netflix/hulu and spending time with the boys :) When its warmer we enjoy taking the motorcycle out and playing with chip and molly We enjoy cooking together and trying new recipes together. Our favorite part of the night is laying in bed together and unwinding by talking for a half hour every night :)

This is the day we made it official the 1st time. We got married legally, there were a lot of things going on in our life that would just make them easier if we were legally married so we took the plunge in my gandma's front yard. We then went back to our house, got drunk and ate a ridiculous amount of pizza.
