I met Rachel at a Labor Day picnic. We hit it off well and began attending church together before I moved to Tennessee. Our first Winterfest sealed us as BFFs. I was able to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to the fantastic Shane Cole in 2016. She has been such a blessing to me, and I'm happy to have her as my Matron of Honor.

Best Man
Nic and I met in 2003 or so in his hometown of Deer River, Minnesota. He moved to Cleveland in 2011, and we have been inseparable ever since. As the drummer of our band GraFteD, Nic and I have spent many long days and nights working on music, recording, writing, worshiping, and enjoying some much needed guy time. He's been more than a friend, he's been a brother. I couldn't think of a better man to stand beside me on my big day, because I know he will stand by my side for many more years to come.

Well I've known Ashley all of her life :) She's been a grand sister, confidante, and Ziz. I'm thankful that God saw fit to have her be my sister. Life would not be the same without her! She has taught me a lot, and I hope I have done the same for her. She has been a helpful and creative maid of honor.

Barrett and I have not known each other as long as some of these other groomsmen, but this day wouldn't be the same without him. His personality is contagious, and everyone who knows him loves to be around him. You better watch out, though - he's a hugger!

Emily and I met in middle school. We have been through the good, the bad, and the crazy together. Most of my school memories have Emily in them. I've learned a lot from E.J. and I wouldn't be who I am today without her friendship. I'm thankful that she is such a supportive bridesmaid!

The father of the ring bearer, Logan and I met through a mutual friend who got us connected for GraFteD to lead worship at his church's youth camp. A few years later, and here we are! Logan is such a cool dude, and he is one of the most caring guys I know. Every time we talk, he always asks how he can be praying for me. I know he is always there for me, not matter what I might be facing. Our wedding wouldn't be the same without Logan as a part.

Along with being Christopher's sister, Elizabeth and I have shared many laughs, lots of sweat (loading and unloading the trailer), and tears (of joy and exhaustion, again from the trailer). Between working together at Indian Ministries of North America and trying to keep Christopher in line, we have had our share of memories. I'm glad that Elizabeth will be a bridesmaid for my and Christopher's wedding.
Matthew Nicholson

Matthew and I went to school together for many years, but didn't really get to know each other until high school. We took nearly all our business classes together, and spent time traveling and sharing rooms for our school's business club, FBLA. "Mattchew" is one of the funniest human beings on the face of the earth, and he also happens to be one of the hardest working men I know. We started out in high school, Matt bringing me Sonic Route 44's every morning, me bringing him a dollar and a dime. Here we are 5+ years later, it wouldn't be a fun wedding without him!

I never thought I would have another sibling, but when Finje entered our home in 2010 there was no turning back. She has been a great younger sister to Ashley and I. From our funny selfies to our gift exchanges at birthdays and Christmas, Finje has been a delightful addition to our family. I'm so glad that she is able to be my bridesmaid.

The husband of the Matron of Honor, Rachel, Shane and I have gotten to know each other really well over the last few years. We share the same passion for guitar playing, and our desire for new gear scares both the girls. He's always been supportive, and I know he's always there if I ever need anything.

I knew of Mattie before I met her. Everyone at my new elementary school talked about what a sweetheart she was and how she was their best student. I didn't get to actually meet Mattie until middle school, and guess what, those teachers were right. Mattie has the best heart. She has been a prayer warrior for me, and I always know that she is only a phone call or text away. I was able to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to the wonderful Jeff Anderson in 2014. I'm very thankful that Mattie is going to be a bridesmaid in my wedding.

The father of the flower girls, Uriah and I have known each other for a very long time. We've spent many summers on the road together, and have an inside joke for almost any occasion. He has introduced me to some of the best music ever made, and taught me how to be a better musician. As the guitar player for GraFteD, he has been there for the long grueling hours of recording, the miles on the road, and the exhilarating moments on stage. He too is like another brother. From living on the rez, to moving to Tennessee, getting married and having two beautiful little girls, I've gotten to be a part of his life, and I'm glad to have him as a part of mine now.

I met Brittany a while ago, but it was only brief. When we re-connected in Tennessee, it was a breath of fresh air. Brittany has been such a great friend to me. From our random girl's nights to late band nights, Brittany is always up for whatever adventure awaits. It has been a joy to watch her be a loving mother and wife. I appreciate Brittany's ability to always be true and honest. I'm so glad that she and her family are in my and Christopher's wedding.

This precious wonder is such a delight! I am so beyond blessed to be her Izzie. Nizhoni is so smart and considerate. I love watching her grow and learn. Between blowing bubbles and shooting Nerf guns, her spunk and humor bring tons of joy. Christopher and I are excited to be a part of her life.

Christopher and I are very happy that Pastor Foster agreed to officiate our wedding. He has been a wonderful leader to my family and I, so this is another wonderful memory to have him be apart of. He and his wife live such a godly example of what marriage can be which is another reason why we love them both. Our wedding party is complete!
