Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at 3:00 to make sure everyone is on time. Gates will be closed at 3:20pm. Ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm.

Can I bring guests or +1/s not noted on my invitation?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests listed on the invite’s envelope. Also, if you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself, your guest, and/or your children.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

March 18th.

What if I didn’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by March 18th, it will be marked as "no". We will miss celebrating with you, however, we have to provide final guest counts to vendors within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Semi-formal to cocktail wedding attire. Ladies: A midi or knee-length dress, a jumpsuit, or a chic pantsuit works great. Gentleman: Slacks or dress pants and button down shirt (tie optional) or a suit if you’d prefer. Also, please avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride- white or ivory. Ask Alex, the MOH, if you have any questions (601-395-9871).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is complementary parking on site with handicap parking available.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors in the garden (weather permitting). The reception will be inside.

What are your wedding colors or theme?

Answer

We're going for a "spring flowers" theme with lots of pastels.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us- get ready to celebrate! We will have beer, wine, and a couple of specialty cocktails. Please drink responsibly and have a ride home arranged if you plan on drinking. We want all of our loved ones to get home safe!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There is an optional brunch on Sunday, the day after the wedding. More info is under the "Schedule" tab.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

No, not necessarily. We have everything we could possibly need in our rental. Instead of a physical gift, we ask if you’d please consider contributing to our "Honeymoon Activities" or to our "First Home Fund" under the "Registry" section here on our website.

Can I request a song to be played at the reception?

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

It might be a little bumpy due to the condition of the walkways to the ceremony, but yes!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Please no, not during the ceremony. We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment with us and leave all cell phones or cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an awesome team of photographers to capture every detail of the wedding and we will of course share those photos with you afterwards! After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invite envelope says “The ____ Family”, your kids are invited. When you RSVP, please make sure to do so for everyone in your party including your kids.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, it is under the “Travel” section here on our website.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please include that when you RSVP to the reception.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Unfortunately, the hotel we booked does not have a shuttle available. Uber and/or Lyft are available options in the area.

Will there be highchairs or booster seats at dinner for children?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. The venue does not have any so please try to bring your own accommodations if need be.
