We can't wait to dance to Caribbean reggae with you!

Mid-November, 2019, Matthew & I both reluctantly join Hinge per our friends' request (because it will be "good for us".....) I, doing my daily scroll because it kept me from online shopping, come across Matthew's profile. I saw that smile (yes, Josh, it was the picture with you that got me) and his answer to the corniest thing about him being his love for rom-coms; I said, 'oo I like this guy! But, there's no shot he'll ever respond'. About a couple days later, I got a message from him saying that he, too, had trouble getting people to believe in the dessert stomach! It was then I realised, I had to meet this beautiful man. December 5th, I meet him at Boucherie for dinner in the West Village. As I am walking up, I see this extremely handsome man standing there in a long emerald green coat, fabulous hair, a turtleneck (!!!), and a striking smile. I was in trouble, but kept my cool - of course. We got along immediately, LOVED spending time together, & continued seeing each other weekly from then on. BAM - COVID! End of March 2020, I couldn't take it & had to go stay with him until Easter. Well.... as you can guess, I never left....but fell even more madly in love with my best friend instead. August 7, 2021: We had our 2nd annual Gables weekend in LBI. Saturday morning - we had decided to wake up for the sunrise, but of course, I do not want to get out of bed. Matthew convinces me by saying it will be raining on Sunday so it's our only chance. I get myself together the best I can & we head out to the beach. He brings me up the stairs, instead of the ramp (WTF), & we see the beautiful pink strips across the sky. He tells me to turn around because he wants a picture of me (uh. weird...but ok). After about 10 sec., he says, 'ok, you're good'. I turn around & see him, ON THE GROUND, ON HIS KNEE & says, 'wanna get married?' Me, in complete & utter shock, grab him to hug & kiss him - forgetting to answer..but OBVIOUSLY eventually say I DO! Now, I get to B Nitto! ;)
