On a warm summer day on August 10th, 2012, Anna and Sean laid eyes on each other for the first time, and right then and there... The Adventure Began! Anna was a junior at St. James Academy and Sean was a junior who attended Shawnee Mission Northwest. Both of them were convinced to tag along with their best friend to go on a "blind" double date. Sparks didn't fly at first but, they sure did spark a year long friendship that continued to grow. Fast forward to the summer of 2013. Both Anna and Sean got to know each other and feelings started to grow. Many hours spent hanging with friends, playing Just Dance (duh), doing cannonballs into Lake Quivera, and texting non-stop, Sean decided to finally ask Anna on a date, a surprise date. Anna's best friend told her they were going to go take summer portraits at Shawnee Mission Park. As they were walking into the park and up over a hill, Anna saw Sean in the distance. That afternoon, they had a nice Panera picnic under a very special tree that would someday be the spot where Sean would get down on one knee to ask Anna the question that would change their lives forever. Both Anna and Sean can't wait for May 4th, 2019 to profess their love for each other in front of God and their closest family and friends.
