Twas a late Thursday evening, when this love story took place, And their meeting was thanks to their friend Jenna Grace; Dorisanne was her co-worker at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, And Ryan was a friend, and an overall hoot; With the holidays approaching, and snowflakes in the air, Jenna invited Ryan to her work’s Christmas Affair; Not as her date, but instead as her friend, Ryan took advantage, filling his belly till the end; Dorisanne, on the other hand, knew he was coming, Without even meeting, her heart was a-humming; As the evening went on, filled with speeches and dinner, Dorisanne kept wondering when he would see her; Then Alas! Came the moment when these two hearts did meet, Dorisanne went and asked him to the bar ‘cross the street. Conversation flowed, just like wine from a bottle, Little did they know, their feelings were full throttle; Now fast forward to the weekend, the time of their first date, To a night filled with talking and hot cocoa- boy, was it great! We could continue this tale, but there’s really no reason, For as you know she said “yes”, in three Christmas seasons.
To all our Family and Friends, We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to finally gather with everyone we love under one roof and can not wait to celebrate our marriage with you! This will be the first time in over a year that we have seen many of you in person and want to make sure that everyone feels safe and comfortable. Although the state of Vermont has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions as of June 14, please keep in mind that it is a popular summer destination and many visit from surrounding states. Some of our wedding attendees are at risk for severe COVID-19 and we ask you to be mindful of your social interactions leading up to the wedding and when you are venturing around Killington. If you are not vaccinated, we also ask you to consider getting a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of arriving. While we want everyone there with us, if you happen to feel ill in the days leading up to the wedding, we kindly ask that you take the necessary precautions and steps per the recommendation of the CDC. We would love nothing more than to have everyone in attendance, however, we understand that these are still uncertain times, and the safety and well-being of all of us are what’s most important. Thank you! Dorisanne & Ryan
