It's all happening!

According to Angel He came to the supply counter at work to order aircraft parts. I hid behind the computer screen nervously thinking this man is handsome. I made an excuse to go check parts in the back & had a coworker help him out instead. Few days went by, a friend came up to me and asked if i knew Sergeant Auer, "tall asian dude". I replied, " No, I've never met him" (not realizing that was him at the counter). Weeks went by, I bumped into him at the gym but thankfully, he was in his own world. During an exercise on base, I was the individual in charge of inspecting everyone's gear. He was next in line & my heart dropped. I could not see his face because of the gas mask but I read his name on his helmet written in bold print "AUER". He got my # from a friend & we made small talk. What can i say? 3rd times a charm, we finally went out for an ice cream date. Something clicked. An ice cream date turned into movie dates, long drives & endless inside jokes. According to Danny My supervisor told me to go to the snack bar & get him some chips. Thinking to myself, get your own damn chips. I ended up going anyway since he was paying for my snacks too. Little did I know, Angel was tasked to be the cashier that day. She didn't make eye-contact so I went back to the office to get more money so I can go back & see her. By the time I made my way back, she had left for the day. Weeks went by, I needed some parts to fix the aircraft & I saw her anime eyes peek over the computer monitor when I approached the counter. I requested parts but she went to ask her friend to help me out while she hid or as she claimed "she needed to inventory". I asked her if she wanted to get some ice cream, she replied "I'm sick". I told her that it's the best remedy for sore throat & I obviously saved her life with chocolate sundae. The next day, I got a voicemail of her singing Happy Birthday. Clearly, too sweet for her own good. The rest is history. I can't imagine life without her.

We went for a hike at Turner Falls one morning. I was recording a video to capture the stunning waterfall backdrop and talking to the camera for about few minutes or so when I realized Danny was quiet. I turned around and found him kneeling down on one knee with the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. He told me how much he enjoyed doing life with me and asked if I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. I screamed, shouted "YES!" and we were engaged. Needless to say, I'm glad the moment was captured in the video. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in San Fran!
