Kayla and I met almost 25 years ago at the Children's Learning Center (CLC) daycare. Our love for softball pulled us together and our friendship continued to grow over the years. High school is where we became inseparable, I would go over to her house for a sleepover and end up staying the next few days. Even though we live in separate states our bond has never changed! She is now married with two beautiful boys and she is an amazing wife and mother! Kayla is my best friend but she's more like my sister!

Brandon and I met at Trinity High School. Shortly after, we both played on the North Lake College men's basketball team and we've been cool ever since. It's been over 10 years now!

Paris and I met at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU). We became line sisters on the Zeta Gamma Spring 2014 line of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated but the sisterhood continued to grow from there with Paris and I. Paris is always down for an adventure and we just have so much fun together. She's the outgoing, loud one in the group and most of the time you can hear her coming before you see her coming! But Paris also leads with her heart, she's one of the most caring individuals I know, the support she has shown me since we first met on line has been so meaningful in my life.

Essence and I met running track at PVAMU. Soon after she became my hairstylist, slaying my hair faithfully every few months. Our thing was going out to eat, so you know when we're together there's some good food around! Essence is one of the hardest working people I know, from going to track practice and then driving all the way from Prairie View to Houston for one on one hurdle practice to starting her own business, she truly inspires me on a daily basis.

Sharay is my link, she was right next to me the entire time we were on line, we became line sisters on the Zeta Gamma Spring 2014 line of AKA. What I love the most about Sharay is she is one of the realest people I know. She will tell you what she's thinking and how she feels with no hesitation and I think everyone needs someone like that in their life. Someone to tell you straight up when you're wrong so you can work on yourself. I will never forget the first time I ever saw Sharay was when I was standing in line to turn my packet in to be considered for the sorority and Sharay was one of the last people to walk up and everyone around me mentioned she kind of looked like me. Little did I know that woman would become my link and a great friend!

I met Jeremy through a mutual friend over 10 years ago. While I lived in Dallas, it was a group of us that hung out often called the Trio Triangle. When I left Dallas and joined the Coast Guard we always kept in touch.

Milan and I first met in Dr. Tschaepe's Critical Thinking class at PVAMU. I remember she had this beautiful, red Louis Vuitton handbag and the first time we ever talked I commented on how nice it was. We eventually became line sisters and the rest is history. Growing up I was always insecure about my height but eventually grew out of that insecurity, but even with the growth, it's always nice to have that one tall friend in the group so you don't feel like you're towering over everybody. We bond over television shows like the bachelor/bachelorette, music, inspirational bible verses and quotes, and much more. Milan is very supportive of me whatever I am going through and I am so appreciative of our friendship.
