FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Think chic Spring garden party. Long dresses, florals and neutral tones. Pinterest inspo board linked below: https://pin.it/3S9cF0a76

Question

What's the deal with food for the weekend?

Answer

While we will be purchasing food for the weekend, we are also going to assign each guest one meal to prepare during your stay. We will send out an excel spreadsheet before the wedding so you know when and who you'll be cooking. Everything will be labelled with instructions ready to go, so no need to plan ahead! We will be hiring someone to deal with dishes so no one is stuck in the pit :)

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

No. We are not expecting any wedding gifts aside from your contribution & presence over the weekend! For those who are adamant on gifting beyond this, cash towards a future honeymoon would be amazing.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Ya'll know we LOVE dogs... But having 10+ dogs at the lodge would be a little hectic so we kindly ask that you leave your furry companion at home for the weekend. Uto will be in attendance as he has ring bearer responsibilities ;)

Question

Where will I sleep? Am I sharing a room?

Answer

We have rented out the entire New Denver Lodge along with 2 cabins at Big Bay Stays. If you are coming as a couple, you will be together in a private room. If you are attending solo, you will be roomed with another solo (everyone will have their own bed)! On Friday, please come to New Denver Lodge where you will be assigned your room.

Question

Anything special I should pack?

Answer

Swimsuit, fun pool party attire, biking clothes, slippers and all the usual weekend getaway suspects. Linen/towels will be provided.

Question

Should I bring my Mountain Bike?

Answer

Yes! If you have a mountain bike and would like to ride with us on Saturday please bring it. Our plan is to do a large group ride on the Butter trail (blue rated), located less than 10 minutes from the lodge. If you do not mountain bike that is A-OK, there are plenty of other activities to do around the lodge.

Question

Should I bring my paddle board/canoe/floaty?

Answer

Yes. The cabins at Big Bay Stay have access to a private beach. Weather depending, it would be great to spend some time on the water.
