It was a set up! "We have the perfect guy for you," Sherry, Gabrielle's mother, said on the phone while Gabrielle rolled her eyes. Then, Todd, Gabrielle's father, invited Dylan and his parents over for a bonfire on June 5, 2021. While the two were shy that evening, they planned their first date shortly after once Darrin, Dylan's dad, helped to give Gabrielle Dylan's digits. Parents really do know what is best for their kids. The first year consisted of Dylan traveling to Fairfax, Virginia and Gabrielle returning to Pennsylvania to see Dylan. The next year, Gabrielle & Dylan moved into their first apartment together in Fairfax, Virginia.

Gabrielle & Dylan attended the Horry County Schools’ job fair in February 2023 after some encouragement from Hannah, Gabrielle's sister. After signing their contracts to work at Ten Oaks Middle School on the spot, Gabrielle and Dylan worked diligently to find their dream home in South Carolina, just a half mile from Hannah & Casey. On move-in day, July 5th, 2023, they walked into their brand new home which was decorated with balloons, photos of the couple, rose petals, candles, and a giant balloon sign that read, "Marry Me?" It was the easiest yes for Gabrielle!
