All About Charleston

The Wedding Website of Rebekah Johnson and Xiaoxuan Yu
We are so excited to have you and to share our favorite city with you. We love Charleston and hope that you can stick around to explore some! Bekah was born and raised here, and Eddie quickly fell in love with the city too. Eddie and Bekah made this list for you, things that are just absolute must-see's while in CHS. On this list are a lot of fun and free activities, some restaurants, and some great paid experiences that Bekah and Eddie highly recommend.
White Point Garden/The Battery

White Point Garden/The Battery

East Battery Street, Charleston, SC 29401
Rainbow Row

Rainbow Row

83-107 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401
Charleston City Market

Charleston City Market

188 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29401

You cannot come to CHS without going to experience the market. Local Vendors, Sweetgrass, beautiful everything. This is a must do.

Joe Riley Waterfront Park

Joe Riley Waterfront Park

Concord Street, Charleston, SC 29401
Pineapple Fountain

Pineapple Fountain

1 Vendue Range, Charleston, SC 29401
Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge

Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge

Charleston, SC 29403

This is a free activity. But bring your walking shoes. There is free parking on the Mount Pleasant side of the bridge, where you can begin to walk the bridge. It is a fun activity that provides a gorgeous view of Charleston and of the Yorktown.

Shem Creek

Shem Creek

SC 29464

Featured in the Outer Banks Netflix show and located on the Mount Pleasant side of the Harbor, this little creek is home to shrimping boats, and a whole slew of local restaurants. Here you can even see the locals dock their boats for a quick bite, see the dolphins, or rent paddleboards and kayaks.

Carriage Tours

Carriage Tours

14 Anson Street, Charleston, SC 29401

This is a highly recommended experience, especially if this is your first time in Charleston. Learn all about the history of the Holy City while exploring the beautiful sites.

USS Yorktown

USS Yorktown

40 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

Bekah, Eddie, and Kylie (MOH) once took a nightime "ghost tour" here and to say the least.. it was not spooky. But it was an awesome private tour, you learn about the ship, it's history, and get a gorgeous view of the Charleston Harbor at night!!

For all the days along the way
