What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Waterfront 361 E Lacey Road Forked River, NJ 08731 http://www.thewaterfrontnj.com/

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:30 & 5:00 PM. The ceremony begins at 5:30 PM.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, parking is free.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Formal. Ladies should wear gowns or cocktail dresses. The gentlemen should wear a suits with ties.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors by the water. The reception will be indoors with a balcony you can spend time on. We recommend a shawl or light coat for evening.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Warm and sunny during the day. Cool once the sun goes down.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can follow the signs to the balcony for cocktail hour!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar and dinner will be served around 7:30 pm. Menu options will be posted closer to the wedding date. Please check the RSVP page to select your menu options.

There will be a vegetarian option.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag your photos with our wedding hashtag #itsabouttogodoyle. This way we can see all the fun you had too!

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception are at the same venue location which is wheelchair accessible.

YES! We will be hosting a Fancy Doylefest this coming Summer 2022. Details to follow.
