Head to the historic downtown square where there are lots of cute, unique shops to browse. Make sure to stop by "All Things Kids" and get some ice cream in the back!
Access to the park is right behind the Sheraton Hotel! There is a large Tree House playground for the kids and fishing is permitted in the pond. The City of Georgetown Hike and Bike Trail and the 18-hole Disc Golf Course are also accessible at this park.
Visible for miles around, the imposing beautiful neoclassical structure is the focal point of the central business district and the fifth structure to serve as a county courthouse. Austin architect C.H. Page designed the building, projecting porticoes supported by Ionic columns, and classic pediment and balustrade detailing. The courthouse was restored to its original splendor in 2007. Tours given on most Friday and Saturday afternoons at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.
