We met at bar...actually The Texas Club in Baton Rouge where Kane Brown was performing. An old friend tried to introduce us and we both kept pushing it off until the night of the concert. We decided to go to the concert and meet there with all of our friends. Once we got to the concert Austin took about three hours to come up to me with his wing man Kandon to introduce himself. The moment he hugged me we were making jokes at each other and dancing. We sang every song Kane Brown performed and one particular song came on, What Ifs, and we knew that moment we had something special. Since that night we have been with each other growing our relationship that led to an engagement!
Austin and I with our family and friends decided to have a crawfish boil at our house for my birthday as well as his nephews. After a few hours passed of us eating crawfish, talking, and drinking we were ready to sing Happy Birthday. The moment we blew out our candles I turned around and he was on one knee with my ring on top of a Chantilly cake. I immediately started crying, shaking, and unable to speak, I was shaking my head YES!! All of our friends and family were screaming in excitement but little did I know he told his mom one hour prior to that to go get the ring. He asked my mom and dad for there blessing and spontaneously decided to propose that night. It was the most perfect moment and so meaningful as everyone was able to experience the moment we decided to commit ourselves to each other for the rest of our lives.
