It has meant more to us than we know how to say. When we decided to elope, it was the easiest decision we ever made. It was simply the most us thing we could do. One evening we sat together dreaming about where in the world we wanted to say our vows. Cancun came up first — beautiful, but coastal wasn't calling us. Then Paris crossed our minds. Architecturally stunning, undeniably romantic, but something still didn't feel quite right. Then Italy came to mind and almost immediately, Lake Como rose to the top. The beauty of the lake. The architecture. The way it feels like a hidden gem tucked away from the rest of the world. We fell in love with the idea instantly — and here we are, a year and a couple of months later, about to board a plane and make it real. Eloping in Italy in such a costly world meant we always knew our family and friends wouldn't be able to join us. That was a weight we carried with love and with intention. But in recent days something unexpected happened — an outpour. Messages, calls, and hearts reaching out wanting to somehow be part of our day.
