Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Eyes up phones down hearts open. There will be no phones or cameras allowed during the ceremony besides our professional photographer. Please silence your phones and put them away for the duration of the ceremony. After the ceremony we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #itisohfischal so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

What do we need to know about parking?

Answer

The Wilds has a professionally lit parking lot with over 100 spaces and a paved handicap accessible parking area directly outside of the wedding venue. Better yet, vehicles can be left on the property overnight until 9:00 AM. We want you and your guests to have fun and be safe!

Are there overnight accommodations near by?

Answer

The Wilds is conveniently located only 10 minutes from Nashville, Indiana (aka Brown County) where you’ll find several cabin rentals, bed and breakfasts and hotels. And they are only 15 minutes from downtown Bloomington, Indiana where you’ll find several major hotel chains, boutique hotels, home rentals and condo rentals.

Who knows it's Indiana! Be prepared. You can always layer later in the evening.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

You'll find The Wilds wedding venue resting atop the Hills of Brown County on a breathtaking 125 acre stretch of farmland. The ceremony will take place outside under the protection of The Wilds' gorgeous new ceremony pavilion. The reception is a couple steps away inside the main building with an outdoor patio under the stars.
