When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better! RSVPing early gives us adequate time to plan for food and seating, but please no later than August 1st. If there are any concerns involving attendance, please reach out directly to us.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue. We hope you will see this as an opportunity for a date night and can't wait to celebrate with you!

What type of attire is required?

Answer

We request for guests to dress in semi-formal clothing.

Where is the event held?

Answer

Our venue will be hosted at the Empress Estate is Woodland, Washington. 460 Empress Ln, Woodland, WA 98674

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Both will be held at the chateau which is directly across from the mansion. Ceremony is to be held outside, though in the case of unsavory weather it will then be moved to inside the chateau. Reception to follow will be inside.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to a limited headcount, we request that only those listed on the invitation to please attend. If there are any questions, please reach out to us.

Where can I park?

Answer

Our venue has multiple places to park. Both in front and around the building. Though please refrain from parking in the upper lot in front of the Chateau entrance - as that is designated for select party members, ADA, and venue staff.

Food allergies/dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know ASAP if there are any allergies or restrictions. While we may not be able to accommodate all restrictions, we will work with our venue on options available that we can provide. *Please note, as this venue has a single kitchen they cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. For our guests with severe allergies, please take extra precautions.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes! We would love for our guests to take and share their photos of our wedding. We do request though that during the ceremony all phones are muted and put away.

What lodging accomodations are in the area?

Answer

There are a few hotel/motels in the the immediate area to choose from, along with being 30 minutes away from larger cities of Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR which offer a wider variety of choices.

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

There are two designated smoking areas at the venue - the bricked veranda & under the chateau deck. Smoking outside these areas is strictly prohibited. *Please note, smoking marijuana or cannabis of any kind is strictly prohibited at the venue and will result in a fine.

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Yes! We will have alcohol present during the reception. If there are plans to partake, please ensure that you have your legal ID with you. *Please note, bringing in outside alcohol or drinking in the parking lot is prohibited by the venue.
