From the very beginning, our connection was easy and genuine. He complimented my eyes and planned our first date with such thoughtfulness—he took care of every detail and made sure all I had to do was show up. That simple, sincere gesture set the tone for everything that followed. My first impression? He was tall, handsome, incredibly smart, and so easy to talk to. As we spent more time together, he continued to plan weekly dates—even while juggling the final stretch of his MBA. Whether it was dropping off flowers when he wasn’t feeling well or remembering the small things I mentioned in passing, he constantly showed me how much he cared. There were so many moments early on that reassured me I was a priority in his life. It wasn’t one single moment that made me fall in love with him—it happened gradually and beautifully. I found myself looking forward to hearing from him every day, wanting to spend time together, and feeling deeply understood. He never just said he loved me—he proved it with his actions. He listened, cared, and always made the effort. We share a love for family, close friendships, and the little joys in life. Whether we’re watching our favourite shows, trying new restaurants, or learning to play tennis (a fun adventure from last summer!), being together feels like home. The proposal was absolutely magical. It happened in Banff—one of the most beautiful places—and he made sure one of my close friends was there to capture the moment. When he got down on one knee, I knew this was just the beginning of a lifetime of memories. We’re so excited to build a life together. From the big milestones to the small, ordinary moments, we look forward to supporting one another, growing our family, and continuing to learn about each other every step of the way.
