How do I get to the Van Cortlandt Park Lake House?

By car/Uber, follow Google Maps directions to Van Cortlandt Park Golf Course, there is a carpark (a.k.a. parking lot) right next to the Lake House. On public transit, take the 1 train uptown to the end of the line (242nd street) and walk through Van Cortlandt Park. What is the dress code?
Answer
No dress code! Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and full of joy, and allows you to throw some wild shapes on the dance floor (if that's the kind of thing you enjoy doing) The reception will be held in a covered outdoor space, and it can get chilly in the evenings in New York! We recommend bringing something warm to wear :)

No, thank you! If you would like to make a donation to a charity that is meaningful to you, that would be absolutely delightful. Otherwise, just being able to enjoy your company and celebrate with you is the most we could ask for :)

How did Isobel and Palani meet?
Answer
Isobel first realised that Palani was truly the one for her when he caused her canoe to capsize in the New Jersey pine barrens. She proceeded to float downstream until rescued by Matt Palmer, but was touched that Palani at least saved her glasses from sinking to the bottom of the river. Palani was only slightly taken aback when Isobel confessed her undying love for him, since she had dropped some extremely unsubtle hints in the previous weeks, and once he was able to see past the exterior of a person who frequently drops entire bowls of porridge (a.k.a. oatmeal) down her front and likes to keep her rice cooker in the bathroom, he too realised that he'd found the person of his dreams.
