Yes, we met on Tinder. After a few messages back and forth, I gave Morgan my number and we texted for a couple of days before meeting in person. We officially met for happy hour at Cobra Bar in downtown Phoenix. We didn't know it, but we both had plans to meet our own friends later that night. A random gentleman named Eric came up to us and asked if we wanted free drink tickets. We of course said yes. Well we put those free drink tickets to good use and eventually cancelled on our friends because we were not ready for the date to end. What was supposed to be a quick happy hour introduction turned into a six hour marathon of arcade games, free cocktails, inappropriate jokes, and ended with plans for a second date that weekend. We don't know where Eric is today, but we would like to thank him.
We were headed to a concert at Crescent Ballroom and Morgan suggested we stop by Angel's Trumpet for a beer, which is right across the street from Cobra Bar. As we are walking down the sidewalk, Morgan grabs my hand to turn me around and bam! He is on one knee at the corner of where we first met. The proposal was simple and beautiful, and the fact that he had been planning it for so long with our friend and photographer, Nicolette, made it that much more special. After the concert we came home to the surprise proposal party Morgan and Danielle Grandy had been planning for months. So many of our friends and family were there and I cried like a little baby. We can't say enough about how incredible the whole night was and we are so thankful for everyone who was there to share it with us. Now let's get married!
