Jennifer and Brandon first crossed paths on Hinge's dating app. After some cheeky back and forth banter, numbers were exchanged and a first date was set at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant. Brandon was calm, cool, and collected and ready for a nice happy hour drink after work. Jennifer on the other hand was in the car hyperventilating on the phone to her best friend Tanya wondering if she was too anxious to go through with meeting Brandon. Once arriving to the restaurant, Brandon texted Jen that he had a table for two that he was waiting at. Jennifer was so nervous she didn't realize he was at a table in the main part of the restaurant and began circling the bar for what seemed hours trying to find Brandon. Unfortunately, Jen had to "double text" to ask where exactly Brandon was to then realize she read his text incorrectly *embarrassing*. Finally finding Brandon and feeling a sigh of relief to sit down and grab some alcohol to calm the nerves, they began chit chatting about everything under the sun. Feeling too formal in the space they were in, Brandon suggested going some place more casual to hangout and Jennifer suggested Carpool down the road. At Carpool, Brandon and Jennifer played lots of shuffle board and arcade basketball (which Jennifer shot one basketball over the entire machine beyond the netting...*embarassed again*) while ordering lots of Gummy Bear shots...little did Jennifer know, Brandon was extremely nervous too. As the date ended, Brandon walked Jennifer to her car and kissed her good night. As Jen pulled out of the parking lot, Brandon ran back over and told her to roll her window down. He then kissed her again stating "I wanted to give you a better kiss than that last one." Driving back home was a blur for Jen (not from the drinks) because of how smitten she was. The rest is history and after almost two years later of spending each day with each other, we are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together and saying yes to forever xo

After calling Jennifer's Dad, Jae, for permission to marry Jen, Brandon invited her family and his family down to the family river house in Cobb Island, Maryland on the Potomac River over Memorial Day Weekend. During the day of the proposal, everyone hung out in the sun tanning, swimming in the river, riding on the boat, and jet skiing on the water. After showering and getting ready for the crab and ribeye dinner planned for that night, Jen was asked to go to the marina to pick up the crabs with Brandon's Uncle. While Jennifer was away, Brandon and his family decorated the backyard with rose petals, balloons, candle lights, and a sign reading "Marry Me?!" When Jennifer arrived back to the house, Brandon was waiting in the kitchen to take her to the backyard where everyone was waiting. Brandon led her down the steps as John Legend's "Stay With You" song played in the background. Brandon got down on one knee in the middle of the rose petal heart and asked Jennifer to marry him and of course she said "YES!" and champagne bottles were popped and tears shed with cheers were made!
