We’re Getting Married...

We met on Tinder in 2014. We both wanted to meet new people and downloaded the hottest new dating app! (This was before Tinder became a dating phenomenon!)  Shortly after matching, the question was asked, "Is your name also I(y)sis?" From that moment on, we would endure countless questions about how we found someone with the same name as us. Neither of us had any intention of getting into a serious relationship, but alas, fate had other plans. When people ask about our Tinder dating experience, we usually say, It was like walking into the casino, hitting the jackpot, and cashing out instantly.

So now, onto the fun part! After five incredible years, we were ready to take the next step. Isis called her best friend, ab, and shared that she wanted to propose to Ysis during her trip home to Hawaii. Unbeknownst to us both, Ysis also called ab a few days before the trip and planned a proposal in Hawaii as well! All three of us flew to Hawaii for two weeks and traveled and relaxed with Isis's family.  On the third day, we woke up at 4 am to see the sunrise at the top of Maunakea, one of the highest viewpoints in Hawaii. Boom! It was a double proposal! You get a ring! She gets a ring! Everybody gets a ring!!!
