It all started at Boise State University, where fate (and a little friendly competition) brought us together. Our first date I challenged Mark to a game of pool and then proceeded to beat him in every single round. We spent hours talking, discovering how many mutual friends we had, and realizing that Mark had spent a lot of time in my hometown. From that night on, something just felt right. As our dates turned into adventures, our love became undeniable. One evening, while we were out in the Birds of Prey area of Boise, I had this overwhelming realization—Mark was my person. It wasn’t just the setting, but the way we talked, how we cared for each other, and how easy it all felt. He took me to live music, always danced with me, and made even the simplest moments feel special. A year after our first date, Mark planned the perfect surprise. He took me to the top of Bogus Basin and asked me to spend forever with him. It was unexpected, magical, and absolutely perfect, and I wouldn’t have planned it any other way. We both agree it was one of the best nights of our lives. We love the life we’ve built together, road trips filled with podcasts, nights spent playing board games and solving puzzles, and endless fun facts about everything under the sun. Mark is always teaching me something new, and I make him question his knowledge (in the best way). We love being outdoors, going to concerts, and creating memories in the little moments, like dancing in the kitchen or taking photobooth pictures whenever we get the chance. Our next adventure? Becoming dog parents, buying a house, and building a home filled with love, laughter, and way too many history documentaries. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
