We're getting married!

Our story began in Carthage- I was a senior in high school, and Austin was a freshman at Panola College, playing baseball. Thanks to mutual friends who set us up on a first date, we started our journey together. It didn’t take long for us to realize that what we had was special! Months passed, and our bond grew stronger as we fell in love. From then on, our story is one that continues to be a testament to God's faithfulness. After high school, I decided to attend Texas State University, while Austin went on to play baseball at Texas A&M. Our love story entered a new chapter: long distance. Despite the miles between us and how much we missed each other, we made it work. Austin made the trip to support me at my sorority events, and I cheered him on every weekend at his baseball games. The next year, I made the decision to transfer to Texas A&M, and for the following three years, we got to experience college together in Aggieland. We made lasting memories, formed lifelong friendships, and enjoyed the time we had side by side! After graduation, I moved to Houston to start my career, while Austin still had one baseball season at A&M. Our relationship remained strong through the distance, as we took turns driving back and forth to spend time together. Then, Austin went on to play professional baseball in Indiana, and even though we were miles apart, our love and commitment to one another never wavered. We patiently waited for the right time to be together full-time. That right time came when Austin returned home, and he proposed to me at his family’s lakehouse—a beautiful moment we had both prayed for and dreamed of. And now, we begin all of the excitement of planning our wedding, looking forward to the next chapter in our story. Looking back, we know that the strength of our relationship was made possible not only by our love for each other but by the incredible support of our families and friends who walked alongside us through every challenge. Our journey has been filled with faith and an unwavering belief that we were meant to be. After 9 total cities lived in between the two of us, thousands of miles, the best memories and six years of love later, we wouldn't change a single thing. We’re here, ready to begin our forever!
