We first met in the summer of 2014 at a house party in Tokyo, just as Calvin Harris released his song "Summer," which has since become a soundtrack to our story, evoking cherished memories. There was an instant connection between us, but at the time, we had either just graduated high school or were finishing our sophomore year of college, and neither of us were thinking about a long-distance relationship. We didn’t realize how many mutual friends we had, so after the party, we kept crossing paths at various events. Eventually, we went on a date, and after an unforgettable three-month summer together, we parted ways. Though we returned to our separate lives, we stayed in touch, and when winter break came, we reunited in Tokyo. By March 2015, we made it official. The rest, as they say, is history. A few milestones we've accomplished together over the past few years.. March 2012-2022 - Seven years of long distance tested our patience, resilience, and love. While the miles between us brought challenges, it also strengthened our bond, proving that true love only grows deeper when faced with adversity. April 2022 - Moved in together in Chicago 🏠 November 2022 - Got engaged in Mexico 💍 September 2023 - Welcomed our first kitten/baby, Sprinkles 🐈 January 2024 - Moved to Sacramento and welcomed our second kitten/baby, Pancakes 🐈 October 2024 - Officially moved to Los Angeles 🏙️
