What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style! The attire is mid-length dresses (though we will accept a truly show-stopping knee-length number) and suits (ties optional). We encourage you to embrace color and choose something that makes you feel confident, elegant, and at your best.

What does “Unplugged Ceremony” mean?

Answer

We want our guests to be fully present with us, and we kindly ask that phones and cameras be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We know how meaningful it is to capture these memories, so there will be a moment when our officiant invites everyone to snap a few photos once we’re together at the altar. From there, we’ll continue the ceremony unplugged, while our photo and video team captures the moments we’ll cherish forever.

What time will I need to arrive?

Please arrive to the Vineyard Deck by 4:30pm to be greeted with a sparkling wine.

Where is the Ceremony & Cocktail Hour?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the Vineyard Deck (see #19 on the legend above). To reach the Vineyard Deck, guests can enjoy a short and scenic walk (approx. 2 minutes) along the Meritage Vineyard Trail, which begins just to the left of the entrance to the Estate Cave and winds gently up and through the vineyards. Please note that the path is a short uphill stretch on a dirt trail with some elevation. For guests who prefer not to walk on the trail, The Meritage Resort & Spa will provide complimentary shuttles to the Vineyard Deck area. Shuttles will depart from the start of the Vineyard Trail and drop guests off near the base of the vineyard. From there, it will be a short, paved walk up to the deck. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will take place on the deck located just below.

Where is the Reception?

Answer

The reception will take place in the Estate Cave (see #17 on legend above). Guests can make their way back down the vineyard path, retracing the same scenic route they took to the ceremony. For those who prefer, shuttles will also be available to return guests to the Estate Cave. The warm glow and intimate ambiance of the Estate Cave will provide the perfect setting to dine, dance, and celebrate the evening.

There are several wonderful options nearby, and here are a few we recommend. The Meritage Resort offers luxurious accommodations right at the heart of the celebration — we’ll be staying here and would love for you to join us! Just steps away, the Vino Bello Resort provides a charming and convenient retreat. Nearby, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott (2.5 miles), Andaz Napa by Hyatt (4.4 miles) and Casa Mani by Hilton (4 miles) offer stylish and comfortable stays, perfect for guests who wish to explore more of Napa during the weekend. Hotels in the heart of downtown Napa are also lovely choices for those who prefer to stay close to the shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms.
