What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style! The attire is mid-length dresses (though we will accept a truly show-stopping knee-length number) and suits (ties optional). We encourage you to embrace color and choose something that makes you feel confident, elegant, and at your best.

What does “Unplugged Ceremony” mean?

Answer

We want our guests to be fully present with us, and we kindly ask that phones and cameras be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We know how meaningful it is to capture these memories, so there will be a moment when our officiant invites everyone to snap a few photos once we’re together at the altar. From there, we’ll continue the ceremony unplugged, while our photo and video team captures the moments we’ll cherish forever.

What time will I need to arrive?

Please arrive to the Vineyard Deck by 4:30pm.

Where is the Ceremony & Cocktail Hour?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the Vineyard Deck (see #19 on the legend above). The Meritage Resort & Spa will provide shuttles to the Vineyard Deck that will depart from the driveway directly in front of the lobby. If any direction is needed, nearby staff will be happy to assist. Alternatively, if you'd prefer a short and scenic walk along the Meritage Vineyard Trail, you can make your way through the lobby and past the pool. The walk on the trail is approximately 2 minutes, and begins just to the left of the entrance to the Estate Cave and winds gently up and through the vineyards. Please note that the trail is a short uphill stretch on a dirt path with stairs. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will take place on the deck located just below.

Where is the Reception?

Answer

The reception will take place in the Estate Cave (see #17 on legend above). Shuttles will be available for transportation from the Vineyard Deck down to the Estate Cave. For those who wish to enjoy the scenery, you are welcome to walk along the vineyard path down to the cave (approx. 2 minute walk). The warm glow and intimate ambiance of the Estate Cave will provide the perfect setting to dine, dance, and celebrate the evening.

There are several wonderful options nearby, and here are a few we recommend. The Meritage Resort offers luxurious accommodations right at the heart of the celebration — we’ll be staying here and would love for you to join us! Just steps away, the Vino Bello Resort provides a charming and convenient retreat. Nearby, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott (2.5 miles), Andaz Napa by Hyatt (4.4 miles) and Casa Mani by Hilton (4 miles) offer stylish and comfortable stays, perfect for guests who wish to explore more of Napa during the weekend. Hotels in the heart of downtown Napa are also lovely choices for those who prefer to stay close to the shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms.
