Maid of Honor
Brianna is not only the bride’s sister but also her lifelong best friend. The two have shared countless memories, from childhood to late-night talks. When Vanessa was in high school and Brianna was in medical school, they would end the school week with watching a new episode of David Tutera’s Celebrations and dreaming about weddings. Now, with those dreams becoming reality, it feels full-circle to have Brianna as Maid of Honor. Her love, support, and excitement mean the world, and the bride couldn’t imagine this special day without her by her side.
Best Man
Jeff was the first person Isaiah met at Rutgers during his freshman year, and over the past 10+ years, they’ve shared countless memories. What stands out the most, though, is Jeff’s heart. When Isaiah was struggling in school, Jeff was the first to reach out, offer support, and make sure he was okay. He’s the kind of friend who’s always there when you need him and isn’t afraid to have the tough conversations that lead to growth and accountability—the type of man every friend needs in his corner. On top of that, he’s one of the flyest people around, and it wouldn’t be surprising if his wedding outfit ended up looking better than Isaiah’s!
Best Woman
Isaiah met Whitney in 2016 at Rutgers right after she competed in Stroll Like an Alpha, an event for his fraternity. From the start, she was the complete opposite of him—super outgoing and always talking to anyone she met, sometimes dragging him into conversations he didn’t even want to have! She also loved playing little tricks on him like a sibling would, and of course, he never let her get away with claiming to be from “three different places” (still not sure if it’s Newark, Irvington, or Louisiana!). Over the years, their friendship has grown into something real. Whitney is like family—the younger sibling Isaiah never had but always wanted. He couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without her by his side.
