Semi-formal or cocktail attire is suggested for this event. For the women, a cocktail dress or slacks and a blouse would be good options for this evening. For the men, slacks and a button up are a good option for the evening. Adding a sport jacket would be a good addition to the outfit!
As mentioned in the schedule, the attire for the wedding is formal. For such a small, intimate, and well photographed gathering, we would appreciate if all guests follow a cohesive look. Every person attending this wedding is traditionally a part of family or group shots, and we'd love for everyone to coordinate. Ladies: We ask that you wear a green midi to floor length dress. Almost any green works! Please stay away from lime, mint, or highlighter green. If you are unsure if the green of the dress leans to much towards a teal or a blue color, we would probably agree it does, and to please pick a different color if possible. Any pattern, any fabric, any shape works. PLEASE SEE THE GALLERY FOR AN INSPO BOARD. If you're unsure if the dress works with the vision, please feel free to reach out to the bride at (719) 661-7356. Gentleman: We would appreciate if you can compliment the greenery of our surroundings and the green of the dresses. Neutrals, grays, or black for your suit attire are all wonderful. White, neutral, or green shirts all work. Pops of green, blush, pink, or yellow are nice complimentary colors. AGAIN, PLEASE AVOID THE COLOR BLUE. Please confirm with the women in your life or the bride that the outfit aligns with the vision.
Cocktail attire or smart business is suggested for this event. Please note that Jekyll Island Club Resort requires appropriate attire. For the women, a casual dress, or nice pants and a blouse would be good options for brunch. For the men, nice pants or jeans and a button up or polo are a good option for brunch.
Isaiah and Sarah will be staying at Kress Brunswick, a hotel in the downtown area. There are many other hotels in the area to pick from as well or you can opt to stay at an AirBnB or a VRBO. Please note that if you choose to stay on Jekyll Island, there is a fee for accessing the area. The daily fee is $10/day or $15/day for vehicles exceeding 8'.
If you are flying to the wedding, you have the option of a few surrounding airports. The Brunswick airport will take you directly to the location, but please note the plane will be smaller and, according to Isaiah, more affected by turbulence. Jacksonville, FL is the other recommended airport to fly into. A smaller international airport with plenty of flights from all over the country, and only an hour south of Brunswick!
