Isaiah and Emily met in 2020 their freshman year at Bob Jones University... Although Isaiah does not remember that.

In September of 2022, they were reintroduced for a 3rd time at a mentor retreat. This time it stuck.

The following month was filled with group activities where they always managed to find eachother.

On December 1, 2022, they had their first date.

A week later Isaiah told Emily he liked her. She friend-zoned him but agreed to pray about it over Christmas break.

They continued to get to know each other and pray about it. On January 27, 2023, Emily asked Isaiah to become official.
