FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/dressy casual/cocktail. That means clothing items like tank tops, flip-flops and athleisure are off limits. 😛

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

By June 10th, 2025. This gives us and the vendors a few weeks to confirm numbers and quantities for each service.

Question

What is this illustrator background thing you mentioned in the RSVP page?

Answer

We hired a unique photo booth service that combines photography with live illustration! A photographer and illustrator will team up to create custom 5x7 prints with their personalized artwork. It’s a fun twist on traditional photo booths! Here's an example from one of their events: https://illobooth.pixieset.com/karinaaaron/ Also, we’re collecting ideas from you all to pass along to the illustrator.

Question

Are my babies & kids welcomed? 🥺

Answer

Yes. We have included your kiddos during our wedding planning. Just a heads up, our venue doesn't provide high chairs.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We have your plus ones in mind and ask that only names listed on the invitation attend. Please reach out to Amanda or Isaiah for any further inquiries. Those who come up uninvited will be escorted out.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Outdoors. If it's going to rain, it will be indoors at the Abernethy Center's Ballroom.

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

You should arrive at 4:30pm for some light refreshments and checking out the venue. The bridal party's arrival time is still TBD, but will be a little earlier.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be PLENTY of free parking spaces!

Question

What's the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

We'll have a large welcome sign that shows the itinerary and/or pass out a program on the day of the wedding.

Question

Is there assigned seating for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, there will be some reserved spots in the front for our parents. For the reception, there will be table numbers, but that's only to keep potential dinner line bottle necking down.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Yes! However, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony, so everyone can be fully present in the moment!
