United by Grace: Our Love Story

"We Love because He first Loved us"

We met in 2021 at a Hemet High football game, but our friendship did not truly start to grow until we attended a small Youth Group in San Jacinto. What started as acquaintances quickly grew into a friendship This catapulted as she invited me to be her dance partner at the Ramona Outdoor Play as a Spanish couple based in the 1800s. I still remember our first time together at the Ramona bowl Ampitheater. We were picking out our costumes, as she walked out in her flowy orange dress, it was then that I realized not only is she so awesome to be around, but she is also soooooo gorgeous! Though I knew she was beautiful before, the dress complimented her femininity even more. Nearing the end of 2022, Eliana and I danced down the flowery streets of Pasadena in the Rose Parade representing the Ramona Play. We were arm in arm for almost the entire time, and a beautiful moment of us locking hands together for the first time there. Though it was brief, it was such a beautiful moment, never to be forgotten. As the months passed our friendship grew. I fell more and more in love with her. Attracted to how much she loved our Lord Jesus, her smile, her laugh and the many deep talks we shared, I knew she was the one. Then came March 12th, 2023, Ellie and I were outside at the parking lot of Juice It Up, when we finally addressed the "Ellie-phant" in the room, our feelings! I officially asked Eliana out on our first date! March 17th, the big day of our first date, what a great day it was! I remember picking her up and thinking how absolutely beautiful she was with her smile and joy! We went to Chipotle, a park and then to a river near Idyllwild. It was in that quiet time together that Eliana and I reminisced of our past, beside the river, her and I felt such joy together. As our hands were glued together walking alongside the riverbed, our love grew. Since then, our hands have been glued ever since! Fastforward, Eliana and I have grown so much spiritually together, we have come to the conclusion that we can better serve God as one, and have the privilege of serving Gods kingdom together. Though our love story could fill a book, it is not done being written. Eliana and I are thoroughly looking forward to serving God, and each other for the rest of our lives. Through rain or shine, "Its You, Me, and Jesus" "Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love—but the greatest of these is love". 1 Corinthians 13:13

For all the days along the way
