Question

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes, they are! The ceremony is in the main auditorium of the church whereas the reception is in the church activity center. After the ceremony, you can walk to the reception.

Question

What is the timeline of the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 2pm. There will be time for coffee immediately after the ceremony while the bride and groom take pictures with their families. A small reception tentatively starts at 3:30pm.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can :) The deadline is February 1st.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 2pm, so please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before 2.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual / semi-formal. Bring comfy sandals/shoes for dancing, too :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one on the invite, they will appear with your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you RSVP for yourself and your guest if someone is accompanying you. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request that you only bring your little ones if they are included on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

If you love hot sauce,

Answer

please consider making and bringing some to the reception. We are having a friendly blind tasting competition of hot sauces. Isaiah is experimenting some recipes already. :)

Question

The invite said “light fare to follow,” but what does it mean?

Answer

It means a full dinner won’t be served. Instead, we’ll serve 2 types of food that represent the union of Isaiah and An. We’ll have some Vietnamese food to represent An’s heritage including bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich). For Isaiah, unfortunately we can’t serve his most favorite food, aka steaks, so we’ll serve his second favorite food, which is tacos. 😊 There will be vegetarian tacos and non-shrimp spring rolls.

For all the days along the way
