This is where we had our first date, but we have also shared a lot of dates since. Urth Caffe is where we enjoy coffee. All'Antico Vinaio has the best and most fresh Italian sandwiches, it's our favorite sandwich place in town, and top it off with a sweet treat at Salt and Straw! The best part is that you can enjoy it all in the common area courtyard with plenty of outdoor seating and shade!
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Great for a scenic drive or an easy hike! Just 35 min from the strip to see the Las Vegas red rock desert landscape. Check out the visitor center to learn more about the pre "Viva Las Vegas" side of our hometown.
Mount Charleston
Escape from the heat and see another side of Vegas by exploring the mountains just west of the strip. Only an hour away to explore the mountains, enjoy a picnic, or hike to a waterfall or mountain peak. We met in a hiking group, so it is only natural that this is where we love to spend our time, especially to escape from Las Vegas summers!
LA VECINDAD®
One of our favorite restaurants here in Las Vegas, we really enjoy their tortas, agua frescas, and their margaritas. Truly a hidden gem right next to the strip.
Chicken N Pickle - Henderson
We love pickleball!! While there are plenty of parks around Las Vegas that we normally frequent, Chicken N Pickle is everything in one! Especially since y'all will be visiting in the ICONIC Vegas summer. It is indoors and outdoors. They have paddles and balls to rent, they have food and drinks that are served right to your court and they have lounge areas with TV's and other fun games to play. The perfect hangout spot that has a little something for everyone and all ages.
Downtown Summerlin
For our shoppers Downtown Summerlin is an outdoor mall! They have an amazing farmers market every Saturday 9am-2pm. Check out local vendors, local coffee shops and big name brand stores all in one. Great place to walk around and shop! Don't forget to check out Dave and Busters-- thats a spot we really enjoy while at Downtown Summerlin!
