Question

Will there be children at your wedding?

Answer

We love the children of all of our guests and are excited that they may be there on our special day! We kindly ask anyone bringing children to the wedding to send them home after the first dances, which will occur before dinner. We have lined up babysitters for those who will be bringing their children, please reach out to us to organize!

How close are the venues?

Answer

The welcome party at the DAC is located in Downtown Detroit. All hotels are in walking distance to the DAC. For the day of the wedding, the locations are less than a mile apart from one another. For those that would prefer, the walk from St. Paul to The Hill is about 10-15 minutes (but ladies, be wary of your heels while walking!). However, we recommend using the shuttle for all changes of location given attire, temperature, and suburban distance.

Dinner will be indoors, dancing will be outdoors.

Shuttle Schedule: Saturday, July 26 1:10 PM – Shuttles depart from: • Westin Book Cadillac • The Atheneum Hotel Please be in the lobby by 1:00 PM. 2:00 PM – Nuptial Mass St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church 3:15 PM – Shuttles to The Village (reception interlude). Options include: • The Whiskey Six • The Old Pony Martini Pub • Sidecar Slider Bar • The Village Grille 4:45 PM – Shuttles to Country Club of Detroit Meet at The Whiskey Six 5:00PM–12:30 AM – Cocktails, Dinner, Dancing, & Afterglow Country Club of Detroit 10:00 PM, 11:00 PM, 12:30 AM – Return shuttles to downtown hotels
