For those traveling by plane, we recommend flying into Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) or Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and renting a car from there. By train, the Wilmington, Delaware train station will get you the closest.
Hotels are limited in this beautiful rural area, so we encourage you to book early and consider enjoying an authentic experience in a local inn or Airbnb.
Beware that many booking tools will send you to Baltimore or the Western Shore of Maryland. These options appear close, as the bird flies, but in fact are 80+ miles by car. Please consult a map before booking.
