Altitude is no joke! Timber Ridge is at 11,660 feet elevation (2x as high as Denver). Here are ways to best prepare. 1. Hydrate. Drink as much water as you can leading up to your travel and when you arrive. 2. Acclimate by staying in Denver for a night if you can. This will help your body adjust. 3. Consider renting an Oxygen Concentrator. No prescription required. This is most helpful to use at night. Website: https://bluebirdoxygen.com/ Discount Code: WEDDINGGUEST 4.. Consider medication. Acetazolamide (Diamox) is used to help prevent and treat altitude sickness. I am not a Doctor (although I am a PA), but please ask your Healthcare provider about this if you are interested!
To get to and from our ceremony/reception site - two scenic Gondola rides are required. All things considered, the journey is about a 25-30 minutes. We ask you board the Gondola no later than 4 pm so that you can make it up to the top in plenty of time before the ceremony. The Gondola will be available for up/down trips all night. You are free to come and go as you please!
We wish that we could invite everyone! Please refer to your wedding invitation envelope or the RSVP link on the website to see who is included in our head count! If you are interested in childcare options in Keystone, we recommend resort sitters. Website: https://www.resortsitters.com/
Hard to say! The average August day is around 65-75 degrees with temperatures falling to 40-50 degrees at night. Not a bad idea to bring a light jacket or shawl.
