We recommend arriving on the earliest flight Thursday morning (23 January). If you are not staying to explore Guatemala after the wedding, we recommend flying back mid-afternoon Sunday (26 January).
We recommend booking a shuttle with Antigua Tours here: https://antiguatours.net/weddings/hadley-labrecque-wedding/
The Welcome Party will be cocktail attire. The Wedding Ceremony & Reception will be Black-Tie Optional. The Ceremony & Reception will be held in a garden. Antigua is filled with cobblestone streets and gardens so stiletto heels are not recommended to wear.
We kindly request that only those named on the invitation are at the ceremony and reception. Thank you.
In January, the high is around 74 F and lows around 55 F.
Before entering Guatemala, you will need to fill out the declaration form. It is recommended to fill this out prior to checking-in at the airport, as some Airlines require this for check-in. https://farm2.sat.gob.gt/declaDelViajeroGt-web/pages/public/declaracionJuradaDelViajero.html There are no visa requirements if you are coming from the United States or the United Kingdom.
Guatemala uses the quetzal as currency. Most places accept credit cards. For small local places and markets, it is recommended to have quetzales in cash.
