Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire with a sea of colour! We’re aiming for a vibrant, joyful celebration, so we kindly ask that women avoid white or black, and men keep black to a minimum. Bold colours, rich tones, and festive flair are all encouraged—let your outfit reflect the joy of the day!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:30pm, we would like to have everyone seated and ready for a 4pm ceremony.

Question

What should we gift the newlyweds?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you feel inclined to give, a cash contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. There will be a wishing well at the reception.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off to relax, celebrate, and dance the night away with us!

Question

What food will be provided?

Answer

We can’t wait to treat you to a memorable dining experience on our special day! The evening will begin with a selection of delicious canapés served during cocktail hour, perfect for mingling and celebrating. Dinner will follow with an alternate drop menu, featuring two thoughtfully curated main courses to cater to a range of tastes. Vegetarian and dietary-friendly options will be available—just let us know your needs when you RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with our nearest and dearest! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. We hope you understand and know how much it means to us to have you there.

Question

Getting home from Jack Rabbit

Answer

Please have a pre-arranged ride home as sometimes Ubers/Rideshares can take a while getting out to Portarlington late at night.
