The word “Sangeet “ means music. During an Indian wedding it translates to Music Night. The Music Night is a celebration of the couple and the bonding of both families. It is the start of the celebration and happens on the night before the wedding, November 18th! The Baraat is a celebratory wedding procession for the groom to arrive with live music and dancing. It takes place before the formal ceremony, bringing the groom and his friends and family to the event. The groom is usually seated on a ceremonial horse (in this case, 500 horses) as his guests lead the way, dancing.
