Come stop by between 7 and 9 pm to visit and meet with the bride and groom before the big day! Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served.
There is plenty of parking at the Lake Club for Friday night and the Church for Saturday. There will be limited valet parking at the Reception. We encourage carpooling or ride share.
A shuttle will be available at 8:15pm, 9:15pm, 10:15pm, 11:15pm, and 12:15am for transfers to Oconomowoc hotel properties. If you valet parked at the reception and have been drinking, we prefer you to take the shuttle back to the hotel and you can retrieve your vehicle in the morning. If you reside in Oconomowoc or have an Air BNB, we can certainly make accommodations to get you a shuttle transfer during the allotted times.
Hor d'ourves and beverages (via open bar) will be served prior to dinner.
Dinner will be family style with enough choices to accommodate our guests. Should you have a special dietary concern, please list on your RSVP.
Should you have an accessible need, please contact our wedding planner, Shari Weber at shari@lakecountryeventplanning.com and she will assist.
We politely request no children attend the reception. If you have an outstanding circumstance, please email the wedding planner at: shari@lakecountryeventplanning.com
Smart casual is a dress code that strikes a balance between formal and casual attire. For Men: Tops: A button-down shirt (often with a collar), a polo shirt, or a well-fitted sweater. Blazers or casual jackets (like a bomber or a lightweight sports jacket) are often added to elevate the look. Bottoms: Chinos, tailored trousers, or dark jeans (well-fitted, not distressed). Avoid overly casual pants like cargo or sweatpants. Footwear: Loafers, derbies, or clean, minimal sneakers. Avoid overly casual shoes like flip-flops or sandals. For Women: Tops: Blouses, button-down shirts, or fitted sweaters. You can layer with a blazer, cardigan, or stylish jacket. Bottoms: Tailored pants, trousers, pencil skirts, or dark, clean jeans. A neat pair of high-waisted or wide-leg pants can also work well. Footwear: Ballet flats, loafers, ankle boots, or chic sneakers. Avoid sandals or overly casual shoes like flip-flops. It can get chilly at night by the water. Please bring a like sweater or jacket
The attire for a garden cocktail party strikes a balance between formal and relaxed. Polished, but comfortable for an outdoor setting. General Tips: Light Layers: it's a good idea to bring a light cardigan, shawl, or wrap for cooler weather. Floral Prints & Pastels: Soft pastels, floral patterns, or nature-inspired hues can be great choices, reflecting the garden setting. Bright colors or more neutral tones, too. Comfort: Since the event is outdoors, be mindful of the terrain. Avoid very high heels or shoes that may sink into the grass. Be mindful of weather. For Men: Tops: A well-tailored blazer, suit or sports jacket paired with a crisp button-down shirt. Bottoms: Chinos, tailored trousers, or dressy dark jeans. Footwear: Leather loafers, brogues, or dress shoes. For Women: Dresses: A cocktail dress, midi dress, or a chic, tailored jumpsuit. Light, breathable fabrics like chiffon, silk, or cotton blends are ideal for the outdoor setting. Skirts/Tops: A dressy blouse paired with a skirt or tailored pants can also work. You can elevate this look with a structured jacket or a blazer. Footwear: Heels (such as sandals, block heels, or stilettos), but be mindful of grass or uneven ground. Wedges or dressy flats might be more practical options.
