FAQs

Question

Are my kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our reception will be an adult-only celebration (21+). We want you to be able to let loose and have a great time with us! They are, however, invited to witness the ceremony of our marriage, but we ask that you have a sitter planned for the remainder of the evening. Your invitation will disclose further clarification.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We kindly ask you to please dress formally/black tie optional. For men, suit & tie or tux. For women mid to floor length dresses. No jeans please!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Parking and transportation

Answer

For ceremony parking, there are two parking lots at the intersection of 51st Terrace and Main St just to the North of the church. For the reception there will be two parking lots outside of our venue that can accommodate several of our guests (one just to the North, and one behind the venue on the Southeast corner), but we encourage people to Uber, ride share, or utilize the street car!

Question

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 1:00pm, we ask that you please arrive by 12:45pm. Thank you!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present in the sacrament of our marriage. Our amazing wedding photographer will then be able to fully do her job and we will be delighted to share the photos with you after. After the ceremony is over please feel free to take as many photos and videos that you would like! Thank you for your understanding.
