The day before the wedding, we’ll be kicking things off with a relaxed welcome barbecue— Swedish style. Join us for an evening of great food, drinks, and time together as we celebrate everyone arriving from near and far. Guests will be picked up by bus directly from the hotel and driven about 10 minutes to the venue. Come as you are,get cozy, and help us start the wedding weekend! - SCHEDULE - Hotel Shuttles: 5:30pm: Shuttle from Flämslätt to Karlsfors 5pm: Shuttle from Scandic Billingen to Karlsfors 6:00-7:00 p.m. Guests are invited to a welcome reception. Guided Tour to Famous Varnhem Abbey Church & Swedish Café

On the morning of the wedding, guests are invited for a short field trip to Varnhem Abbey Church as well as a local Swedish café. We’ll depart by bus from Flämslätt and spend the morning exploring the historic Abbey Church and Kata Farm with a guided tour. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a light soup lunch outside before returning to Flämslätt in time to change and prepare for the wedding. - SCHEDULE - Hotel Shuttles: 9:45am: Shuttle from Flämslätt to Varnhem Abbey Church 10:00am: Shuttle from Scandic Billingen to Varnhem Abbey Church 10:30–12:00 — Guided tour of Kata Farm & Abbey Church 12:00–12:45 — Soup lunch outside the Abbey Church 12:30–1:10 — Shuttle back to Flämslätt and Scandic Billingen

Our palette is inspired by a Swedish summer. Think soft florals, sun-warmed earth, and gentle greenery. We invite guests to dress in formal attire in muted, romantic tones such as blush, peach, dusty rose, sage, olive, light blue, navy, warm taupe, and creamy neutrals. We’ll share good food, coffee, and one last chance to spend time together before the weekend comes to an end.
