Our first encounter was at work. We worked at a home infusion pharmacy where I was positioned in the sterile room and Andrew worked in his warehouse office outside. The first time we saw each other I was wearing a bouffant, a disposable gown, mask, and booties, but somehow I must have caught his interest despite the extra layers. Because Andrew worked overnight, we rarely had shift overlap and I thought it wasn't meant to be. One day, I left him a post-it that said "hello" on his computer. There were a couple others already there so I didn't think anything of it. I came back around to that part of the building 2 weeks later to find a response on my note. Passing post-its became a sweet tradition we followed daily for several months, even after we began to date.
