National Civil Rights Museum
You cannot visit Memphis without visiting this historic landmark! One of the best museums in the country.
Stax Museum of American Soul
Located on the original site of the Stax Records studio in Memphis, Tennessee, the Stax Museum pays special tribute to the artists who recorded there, as well as other American soul legends
The Second Line
Second Line is one of our favorite places for a nice dinner. It is famous for its New Orlean's style food including Po-Boys. We recommend their loaded cheese fries, and our favorite "BBQ Shrimp," simply the best!
Hog and Hominy
A neighborhood eatery that is sure to impress. Named one of Bon Appettit’s top 50 Best New Restaurants and one of Southern Livings Best New Restaurants in the South. We recommend their crab claws, pizza, and any of their great cocktails.
Loflin Yard
We love going to Loflin with friends! It's a great outdoor/indoor bar located downtown with lots of space, and great food & drinks. You have to try their Smoke Wings and/or their Nachos!
Bayou
A neighborhood bar in Overton Square. Our favorite dish from Bayou is the Zydeco Wings, we encourage everyone to give them a try.
Wiseacre Brewery
Memphis's most famous brewery. This location is new and the design is sure to impress. Order the Tiny Bomb!
Memphis Made Brewing Co.
Alex loves this place. His favorite beer "Fireside" is made here!
Central BBQ - Midtown
Can't go wrong! Ask for a full slab of ribs, half wet, half dry rub.
Brother Juniper's
We love Brother Juniper's, it's a great place for a good breakfast! Any of their scrambles will blow you away! It is popular though so make sure to get on their list.
17 Berkshire
French bakery with the best Macaroons in town. Also a good place for a cup of coffee. Simply delicious!

Isabelle's favorite coffee destination. It is located in the Broad Street Art District which is lined with great shops.
Muddy's Bake Shop
Try their rice crispy treats and their cupcakes, best in town! Also located in the Broad Street Art District.
Beck & Call
This is an amazing rooftop bar located in Downtown Memphis. It has great views of the Mississippi. It is also where we got engaged.
Beale Street
An iconic street. It is three blocks of nightclubs, restaurants and shops in the heart of downtown Memphis, and a melting pot of delta blues, jazz, rock 'n' roll, R&B and gospel
Overton Park
A public park that includes a beautiful 126-acre forest! Right in the middle of midtown. Walk, run, or bike one of the many great trails.
TACOnganas - Central / Midtown
It is a local birria taco food truck. They are some of the best tacos in Memphis and a must have. Make sure to order your tacos "taco con ganas" style. Alex loves the barbecoa tacos the most!
